Outside
One of cornwalls best kept secrets

The flower shed offers you a unique style of Bed and Breakfast accommodation. This timbered cabin stands in its own gardens in a secluded spot on the hillside overlooking the village of Mousehole. It used to be a bulb store and flower shed for the smallholding which once grew daffodils, violets and strawberries.

The peaceful, private location belies the easy access into the heart of the village by way of a short walk down a woodland path. The flower shed is almost sitting in a tree and is surrounded by nature. You may hear the ducks quacking as they take their daily swim and small garden birds sit on branches outside your door. There are also owls around the garden.

The views are quite beautiful. The flower shed faces east so if you are awake early enough you can watch the small fishing boats going out whilst the sun rises over the horizon, followed by trawlers going to sea and then pleasure boats and kayaks passing by. Night-time can bring the most wonderful moonlit sea and if the sky is clear and you fancy a bit of star gazing you will not be disappointed.

The flower shed is always open and offers comfortable accommodation in any season. This can be a special place to enjoy a bit of quiet time during an autumn /winters evening but you may need to wrap yourself in one of the lovely blankets provided if you decide to sit outside on the veranda whilst enjoying the stars.
